Dapoxetine is a medication used to treat premature ejaculation. This medication aids in improving the control of ejaculation during sexual activity and lengthening the time it takes to ejaculate. Dapoxetine tablet should be taken 1-3hrs prior to the activity. You can take dapoxetine pills with or without food. Alcohol shouldn’t be consumed while taking it. No more than one tablet should be taken in a 24-hour period.
Dapoxetine may not be appropriate for everyone. If you experience fits, have a mental illness, or have issues with your eyes, heart, liver, or kidneys, let your doctor know. Tell them about all of your current medications as well to prevent any negative effects. Children under the age of 18 and women are not supposed to take this medication.
Only men aged 18 to 64 with PE who have had it for at least six months are able to use dapoxetine. Premature ejaculation refers to men who ejaculate within two minutes or less of penetration. Men with heart disease, blood clotting problems, fainting tendencies, or those taking specific medications shouldn’t take it.
Before starting treatment with Dapoxetine, tell your doctor about all of your current medications, including herbal supplements and vitamins, as this medication may interact with many other medications and have serious side effects.
Dapoxetine needs to be used cautiously because it can result in orthostatic hypotension (a decrease in blood pressure while standing up from a lying position). Given the increased risk of excessive bleeding, it should be used cautiously if you have an active bleeding disorder.
Dapoxetine tablet has been linked to fainting, blurred vision, drowsiness, and vertigo. Therefore, refrain from engaging in tasks that demand a high level of mental alertness, such as operating machinery or operating vehicles, while taking this medication.
