Cobix 100 MG (Celebrex)
What is Cobix 100 mg?
Cobix 100 mg is a prescription medicine used to relieve pain & swelling in the knee and other joints caused by various joint diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It is made of celecoxib, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
Celecoxib is a selective inhibitor of COX-2, an enzyme responsible for pain and inflammation. By inhibiting this enzyme, Cobix helps to ease joint pain, stiffness and swelling for greater freedom of movement.
Cobix – Side Effects As with all medications, Cobix can cause some side effects which are more common. The most frequent are abdominal pain, diarrhoea, indigestion and headache. It could react with blood thinners, steroids or other pain relievers. Alcohol can increase the risk of stomach irritation or ulceration when you are drinking and taking Cobix.
If you have liver, kidney or heart disease, ask your doctor before taking this medicine. Only use it as directed, and never at a higher dose.
